I was hired on to Osmosis Jones to paint production background paintings. I was also asked to mentor other background artists in Photoshop as this was new for some of them.

As I can also paint with a photographic realism, I was asked to paint the skin texture maps for the final fight sequence.

Some artists got to paint the heart and brain. I got the bladder and Frank's colon. This was the only time that I can recall where a director telling me that my painting looked like shit was intended as a compliment. In any event, the master shot that I painted later got cut when the studio reconsidered. Here's the unexpurgated version.
